WHY THIS MATTERS
This guide represents a body of ideas, concerns, and recommendations culled from GVPedia staff, board members, and colleagues over the last year. Its purpose is to identify key challenges, highlight strategic opportunities, and outline actionable directions for strengthening the gun violence prevention movement’s response to disinformation.
The feedback and recommendations encourage collective response and shared responsibility for the many actions that will save lives. Our hope is that the organizations within the movement will identify an action recommended in this report, take it on, make it their own, and bring it to life.
